An interesting new viral campaign has been launched by Time to Change to highlight the ignorance and stigma that is attached to schizophrenia. The video is titled “Schizophrenic Man Terrifies Kids at a Party” is designed to test our own prejudices. The title alone perhaps conjures up something many may not want to see, but the reality is a very clever piece of educational and thoughtful video that should make you think twice about mental health.

‘Time to Change’ is England’s biggest and most ambitious campaign to end mental health discrimination. Time to Change is run by leading mental health charities Mind and Rethink, and backed by £16 million from the Big Lottery Fund and £2 million from Comic Relief.

This viral video has already attracted over 100 comments so far and almost 48.000 views on Youtube – have a watch!
