It will not be available in the mainstream stores like HMV and it’s the first single since Do They Know It’s Christmas, by Band Aid, to appear in Oxfam’s high street shops. The single will cost £2.99 and includes an MP3 version of the song so you can add it to your iPod or MP3 Player at no extra charge.

By selling the record Oxfam will be able to raise much needed funds and you can contribute further to their cause by dropping off old and unwanted singles and albums at your local shop.

David McCullough, Oxfam’s director of trading, said about the initiative:

“We were thrilled when we heard about the idea for the new Arctic Monkeys single and are delighted to be partnering with Domino on something that will be great for music fans, and help us raise money to fight poverty at the same time”.
