Harry Potter fans are rejoincing with the news that JK Rowling’s Beedle the Bard book is being released for sale. Originally thought to be a special publication the book containing five fairy tales, which Amazon managed to get hold of, is now going to be made available to all – and the good news is that net proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to The Children’s Voice campaign.

This is no doubt going to be a huge hit for Christmas!

Amazon are already taking preorders for a standard edition of the book that features all five fairy tales from the original The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a new introduction by J.K. Rowling, illustrations reproduced from the original handcrafted book and a commentary on each of the tales by Professor Albus Dumbledore.

For die hard Harry Potter fans there’s also a special edition featuring an exclusive reproduction of J.K. Rowling’s handwritten introduction, 10 new illustrations, metalwork and clasp, replica gemstones, and tucked in its own case disguised as a wizarding textbook from the Hogwarts library. This is only available from Amazon and costs £50 (of which around £20 will go to charity).
