Stars Sing for Pudsey to Launch Children in Need 2009
Leave the first response October 16, 2009 / Posted in Children in NeedChildren in Need is coming soon and there are loads of events planned to help Pudsey raise money for the charity. This year, to get things started, a whole heap of stars are getting together on Thursday, November 12 for the Children In Need Rocks concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The gig is being organised by Take That star and all around good egg Gary Barlow, with a load of top musical acts which includes; Take That; Lily Allen; Dizzee Rascal; Dame Shirley Bassey; Leona Lewis; Paolo Nutini; Mika; Snow Patrol; Cheryl Cole; Katherine Jenkins and Muse.
Tickets for the concert are priced from £50 You need to register your details and if you are chosen in the ballot you will be able to buy a maximum of 2 tickets. click here to visit the Children in Need website. Tickets will be allocated through a ballot that will remain open from 7.00am, Friday 16 October until noon on Tuesday 20 October.

ASDA are Tickled Pink for Breast Cancer Charities in October

This year celebrates the 13th year that ASDA has run their Tickled Pink Campaign in aid of breast cancer charities Breast Cancer Care and the Breast Cancer Campaign raising over £20 million along the way!
ASDA’s Tickled Pink Campaign has funded almost half of the services provided by Breast Cancer Care over the past 12 years, helping them get breast health information and support to more than 8 million people and helped the Breast Cancer Campaign fund 36 vital research projects and 3 scientific fellowships.
ASDA have a wide range of tickled pink items up for sale including t-shirts, bags, jewellery, 6ft pink trampoline and a Boss Blackmagic bike! If you buy one of these products 10p from each £1 spent will be donated to Tickled Pink campaign. At time of publishing, this years campaign has raised £32,000 – click here to go to ASDA and help them get this total higher.
Play Bingo with Foxy and Ladbrokes to Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It may seen a little strange to play games to raise funds in this way, but if you are already a player or are looking for a new bingo room to try out, then why not take part and help make charities more money!

To help you get into the swing of things, Foxy Bingo are running various promotions so you can Play it Pink with Foxy in both the 75 and 90 ball rooms! Foxy will donate 1p per card bought on the 90 ball game and 1p for every 10 cards bought on the 75 ball game.
