This year Christian charity World Vision UK, is proud to support The Great Ethiopian Run, which takes place in Addis Ababa on 25th/26th November.

The mission of The Great Ethiopian Run is to contribute to the betterment of life in Ethiopia, it publicises important health and social messages, promotes the work of HIV / AIDS organisations & presents a positive sporting image from within Ethiopia.

World Vision has partnered with Ethiopia since the mid 1980’s working with and through local people & communities. Like The Great Ethiopian Run it’s Child Sponsorship work is all about betterment of life, with long-term commitment to area development programmes that bring real and lasting change.

The dedication and commitment of the people of Ethiopia, along with World Vision means that real progress has begun – however World Vision still urgently need to find sponsors for thousands of children who otherwise face a bleak future.
