Below is a film about FARM-Africa’s Maendeleo Agricultural Technology Fund (MATF) in Uganda which helps farmers to increase chicken production, by educating them in good farming practises that will work in their environment.

FARM-Africa rely on donations and fundraising and they give you three different ways to help raise money for their cause. The first scheme is FARM-Africa Presents which allows you to personalise a film or send a photo gift your loved one demonstrating the virtual gift you have bought. The second is FARM-Africa Friends which is two gifts in one! When you buy one of these for a loved one, money is put into a farming project while the person you are gifting it to will receive a fun gift pack containing a model animal and ‘happy family’ cards with information about just one of the ways your donation is changing lives in Africa.

The third is the FARM-Africa E-cards which are one of the latest items to be added to the growing trend of eco-conscious products! As well as helping Farm-Africa to make a difference to lives of farmers in eastern Africa, by sending one of their E-cards instead of a traditional card, you will be cutting down on the amount of paper used to make them, helping to protect the forests. Plus, if there is still disruption to the mail service in the run up to Christmas, it’s a sure fire method of making sure everyone gets their Christmas cards in time!
