Karoake World Record Attempt With Poppets

Posted by: jason In: Appeals

2007 will be a big and noisy year for the Poppets brand as they continue to promote their “Racket in a Packet” theme using karaoke. One of the events which is due to take place shortly is a World Record for “The longest karaoke marathon by an individual”. The current world record holder, Mark Pearson has teamed up with Poppets to help with the cause.

Mark aims to sing karaoke nonstop for 40 hrs at Asda Shipley, commencing at 6pm on 17th Apr 2007 and as a dual incentive for Mark he will be sponsored with all funds donated to Manorlands Hospice.

Please sponsor Mark’s record attempt, as he sings to raise money for Manorlands Hospice, which is run by the charity Sue Ryder Care. Having recently lost an aunt to Cancer at Manorlands Hospice, this is a cause very close to Mark’s heart and as the hospice relies heavily on voluntary donations all proceeds will be very much appreciated.
